We have an exciting opportunity for a Student Welfare Officer role in a Newport-based Education Administration Programs company. It is a UK-based company that only targets the Chinese and British education markets. Its guiding idea is to offer schools and parents a professional, personalized service. They are seeking a dependable student welfare officer eager to advance in the organization by assuming greater responsibility and leaving his or her mark. The Student Welfare Officer will take on the duties of contact with UK boarding schools, students, parents, host families, etc. to ensure that the welfare and academic goals of overseas students are met.

Job Requirements:

Trustworthiness and a positive attitude are required.

Adaptability and a positive approach toward learning.

Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.

An excellent eye for detail.

Excellent organizing and multitasking skills.

Fluent in Mandarin and well-versed in Chinese culture

The minimal prerequisite is a BSc or BA degree.

A minimum of three years' worth of job experience is preferred, while it's not a requirement.

Job Responsibilities:

Serving as an expert and reliable main liaison between current parents, UK boarding schools, and kids.

Handling requests and inquiries from current parents in a timely and professional manner.

Regular communication with the admissions staff and houseparents at residential institutions.

Be a student's mentor to encourage them academically and make sure their welfare is well taken care of.

Daily communication with clients outside the company, such as Chinese parents, UK boarding schools, host families, and other suppliers.

As needed, assist other team members.

Numerous other duties and projects.
