We have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Support Specialist role in a US-based Appliance, Electrical, and Electronics Manufacturing company. The company creates and sells high-performance industrial and professional-grade integrated pan, tilt, and zoom cameras for use in Pro AV, Broadcast, and Remote Video applications. They are seeking an individual with the necessary qualifications and experience to fill this position.
Job Requirements:
A bachelor's degree in IT, computer science, or electrical engineering is required, as well as at least 3 years of work experience as a technical support engineer for IT-related items, video imaging products, and PC-based products.
2-3 years of experience with video camera/IP imaging products.
Knowledge of other industries, such as hardware for professional video, audio, CCTV, broadcast video, and networks, as well as IT and network support.
Working knowledge of client ticket-based workflow troubleshooting.
Must be familiar with Microsoft Windows and various desktop applications such as MS Office/PPT.
Must be familiar with IP networks, PC and hardware configuration, networking protocols, and technologies such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN clients.
Familiarity with assistance tools such as remote networking platforms such as TeamViewer.
Strong communication abilities are a must, as is previous experience assisting both technical and non-technical clients.
Must be extremely organized and have good time management skills.
English language proficiency (fluent).

Job Responsibilities:
Complete support for IP cameras, PTZ cameras, and video imaging products.
On-demand technical support over the phone, via email, chat programs, and via a remote desktop program like TeamViewer.
Testing and troubleshooting products directly, upgrades to hardware and firmware, repairs, etc.
Creating and documenting best practices, knowledge base articles, improving troubleshooting processes, and technical knowledge base content.
Address testing new products, fixing technical problems, providing support for technical documents, debugging techniques, etc. with the corporate R&D department.
Deliver internal training, pre-and post-sales technical support, sales tech support, and assistance to dealers and end users.
Train dealers and systems integrators are technically online and on-site.
