We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Campaign Strategist - UK & China role in an Advertising Services company based in Brighton. The business is a student-run marketing firm. The Campaign Strategist will be responsible for driving Client growth by providing creative multi-channel campaigns that are measurably effective, as well as serving as the primary contact between the Chinese delivery teams and the global client services team and clients.
 

Job Requirements:

-Experience delivering email campaigns for at least 3 years.

-Understand the whole campaign execution process, including setup, segmentation, testing, deployment, quality assurance, and reporting.

-Practical knowledge of major ESP platforms (e.g. Adobe Campaign, Braze, Responsys, or Salesforce Marketing Cloud).

-Excellent account and client management skills, with an emphasis on quality and customer satisfaction.

-Proven track record of anticipating and understanding customer requirements.

-Experience ensuring that client projects and campaigns are completed on schedule and within budget.

-Excellent knowledge and comprehension of quality assurance: the ability to verify that standards are satisfied.

-Experience managing diverse customers and campaigns in a fast-paced setting.

-Project management abilities are desired.

-Experience in line management is preferred.

-Excellent time management, analytical, and attention to detail skills.

-Excellent writing and verbal communication abilities, as well as a strong desire to provide exceptional service to our clients.

-Strong problem-solving abilities and a solution-oriented mindset.

-A creative thinker who can balance multiple priorities and work independently.

Job Responsibilities:

-Ownership of important strategic client advertising in China, with an emphasis on demonstrable results that fulfill client goals.

-Responsible for all areas of campaign success, including assisting in the development of a successful brief.

-Plan in-campaign agile performance suggestions and post-campaign analysis in a creative and inventive manner using professional internal and external stakeholder management.

-Senior Campaign Strategists are required to have a stronger working relationship with their clients.

-New business prospects, growth, and more for our key clientele.

-Precise forecasting, as well as participation in QBRs and crucial pitches.

-Internally, collaborate with the marketing team to publish blogs, train the planning team in key areas, and possibly line manage our junior employees.

-Take responsibility for your actions.

-Keeping up with the newest news and developments in the industry.

-Understanding the educational cycle and the client's requirements (immediate and long-term marketing objectives).

-Developing new client relationships and identifying development potential in the areas of Media, Creative, Research, and Nurture.

-Assist with forecasting and work with consultants/directors to exchange insights and bring into comms when the conversation swings outside of Campaigns.

-Assist the client in drafting effective briefs (e.g. specific objectives).

-Maintaining contact with clients for future campaigns in accordance with the education cycle is your responsibility.

-Maintaining healthy and productive working relationships with clients, as well as discovering market and business growth opportunities for clients.

-Leading the initial conversation with clients to understand their goals and previous experiences with advertising or owned media management, as well as to challenge and obtain a complete brief to establish an effective China strategy for clients.

-Serving as a final quality control checker for work before it is given to clients.

-Serving as a link between the client and delivery teams to ensure that projects are completed on time and under budget and that customers receive the best China marketing service possible.

-Responding to client inquiries and project-related feedback directly and actively, and effectively converting them into actionable briefs for corresponding delivery managers.

-Regularly attending team meetings to discuss client projects and service improvement.

-Conducting training and performance review meetings/calls with clients to discuss ad and owned media performance.

-Working on bids and tenders, as well as attending client pitches and client service or business development professionals, to exhibit our sector and market experience.

-Developing and improving the Chinese services proposition, including proposals, presentations, and reporting, in collaboration with client service leaders and Chinese delivery managers.

-Collaboration with the Marketing team to build a message and communications to promote services.

-Integrating the Chinese offering to ensure that our global clients receive consistent service.

-Being the principal point of contact for any China-related questions for the UK and US offices.

-Working toward and attaining the client's objectives and KPIs.

- Thinking Chinese students and parents are exploring and learning about marketing trends in China, as well as the country's specific advertising and media ecosystem and student marketing best practices, and actively sharing and increasing their knowledge.

-Existing and new research using proprietary and licensed tools for students.

-Collaboration with professional media teams to identify new audiences.

-Demonstrate an understanding of your target audience, such as existing and target (known and undiscovered) markets.

-Recognize your competitors and assess your target audiences.

-Wherever feasible, use Lookalike / Custom Audiences.
