We have an exciting opportunity for an Event Manager role for a Dubai-based Events Services company. It is a worldwide agency network that has evolved into one of the most effective independent global agency networks, bringing together best-in-class immersive design, tech and digital, communication, and production capabilities. It is seeking to hire an experienced individual to fit this role.
Job Requirements:
• Extensive event/project management expertise is required.
• Project management expertise in Critical Time Path (CTP) production and management, tracking and managing project activities, monitoring and implementing project risks, and so on. In charge of both internal and external teams.
• Exceptional communicator (Written, Spoken, Presentation).
• Budget control for projects with budgets of £50,000 or more.
• Written and spoken business English.
• Client relationship management/account management
• Significant expertise with live events (exhibition stands/pavilions, conferencing, activations, and so on).
• Microsoft Office Suite and other IT abilities are required.
•Relationship management with stakeholders.
• Working knowledge of supply chains.
• Problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Understanding the health & security process for live events and exhibiting stand construction, including risk assessments and method statements.
• International travel ability.
• Administration of logistics.
• Knowledge of the design process, as well as previous experience working with the creative department to respond to client concept development.
• Experience with responding to RFPs, generating new business responding to tender offers, and pitching for new business.
• Extensive experience managing subcontractors, freelancers, and outside resources.
Job Responsibilities:
• Lead a variety of projects for a varied customer base, including exhibition stands and pavilions, conferences, digital and hybrid events, as well as special projects and customised activations.
• Identify methods to add value to client engagements as well as ideas to establish new or expand current projects to assist our clients in achieving more.
• Project management, as well as the production and administration of each project's essential time path.
• Conduct project calls/meetings with a variety of stakeholders, track activities and identify project concerns, manage the risk register, and design mitigation techniques to keep the project on schedule.
• Collaborate with a network of suppliers to determine project prices, create thorough Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for suppliers to fill, and create budget estimates and client quotes.
• Replying to RFPs, tendering, and pitching for projects.
• Understand the brief, construct a response, generate costings, and finish response papers in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
• Promote the brand at industry events and seek out networking opportunities to improve the company's visibility among prospective clients, suppliers, and the general public.
