We have an exciting opportunity for a Crew and Finance Assistant role in a Spectator Sports company based in Gosport. It is one of the top yachting organisations in the world and hosts its signature Round the World Yacht Race competition. They are searching for a Crew & Finance Assistant to help the Crew Team and the Finance Team work together to achieve the company's commercial objectives by offering administrative support. The probation period for this position is 3 months.
 
Job Requirements:
-Background with bookkeeping, preferably in a service setting.
-Experience with Sage and VAT would be advantageous.
-A strong but constructive team player with good communication abilities.
-Mandarin fluency.
-Must be able to work in the UK and possess the necessary visas.
-Presently reside within commuting distance of Gosport, Hampshire, or are willing to relocate there.

Job Responsibilities:
-Invoicing for crew clients.
-Processing of business expenditures.
-Processing of business credit card charges.
-Sending out paperwork, handling returned Race Crew paperwork and making sure that all the data is appropriately entered into the database of the business.
-Obtaining and compiling crew information before every leg of the race.
-Producing and distributing Race Crew certificates following the completion of the race.
-Ad-hoc duties assigned by the Crew Team and the Finance Team as needed.
-On rare occasions, the assistant will have to work away from home for activities like boat exhibits and race starts and completes.
