We have an exciting opportunity for an Equipment Engineer for a London-based Warehousing Company. They are looking for an Equipment Engineer to become a part of their team and contribute to maintaining the commitment to excellence at their recently established UK branch located in Tamworth.

Job Requirements:

Strong communication skills are required.

Proficiency in Chinese is required. 

Proficiency in understanding mechanical and electrical principles.

Must be knowledgeable about equipment lubrication and lubrication methods.

Must be familiar with commonly used equipment maintenance tools and electrical testing instruments and meters.

Ability to plan effectively, with the capacity to systematically evaluate equipment and develop maintenance plans for it.

Job Responsibilities:

To conduct routine maintenance on robotic systems, conveyors, sorters, and crane systems, utilizing appropriate documentation and hand tools with precision, timeliness, and safety as top priorities.

To immediately report any irregularities or issues to the Engineer while performing maintenance tasks.

Executing fault diagnosis, testing, inspections, assembly, disassembly, replacement, and repair tasks.

Regularly assessing inventory, including spare parts and tools, ensuring accurate quantities and optimal conditions.

Creating technical documentation for proper record-keeping.

Addressing any exceptional cases under the direct guidance of the Engineer.

Attending relevant training courses when necessary.

Maintaining cleanliness through daily housekeeping and equipment cleaning duties.

Performing thorough quality inspections to guarantee work is carried out with the utmost safety standards in mind.

Adhering to and follow all Health and Safety guidelines diligently.

Reporting directly to the Engineer.
