The company is a producer and distributor of various product lines geared particularly for Chinese food manufacturers in the UK. Preferably, the candidate should possess prior experience working in a dynamic and fast-paced logistics environment, particularly within the food sector.

Job Requirements:

Proficiency in Cantonese/Mandarin is highly desirable given our customer and supplier interactions.

Minimum of 1 year of experience in a comparable role.

Driven and exceptionally organized individual.

Excellent communication skills.

Enjoys collaborative work and functions well within a team.

Possesses strong interpersonal skills.

Proficient in IT, with skills in MS Office.

Job Responsibilities:

Oversee the entire process of purchase order management, ensuring completion.

Utilize historical sales data for forecasting and collaborate with the sales team to understand future market needs.

Engage in negotiations for strategic agreements on behalf of the company.

Conduct market research and explore new product opportunities.

Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the company's product portfolio.

Generate and present reports to Directors upon request.

Maintain daily communication with internal accounts, warehouse, transport, and sales teams, as well as with suppliers and customers.

Collaborate with logistics partners to track global stock movements.

Monitor and manage supplier contracts.

Effectively manage an inventory of products.

Cultivate relationships with suppliers in the Far East and worldwide.

Recommend efficiencies and improvements in the procurement processes.

Handle general procurement team administration tasks.
