A Foreign Bank is hiring a Compliance Manager for its London Branch.

The Candidate should have

· Eligibility to work in the UK without sponsorship (Evidence Required).

· 2-year minimum experience of working as a Compliance Manager in the banking sector.

· BSc / BA in law, finance, business administration or related field. 

Responsibilities

Working with senior manager across the business to establish and execute a good compliance framework and monitoring program.

To ensure the branch’s business and operations are compliance with UK regulations and relevant laws.

Provision of compliance advice and guidance to the company.

Dealing with the regulators and external stakeholders.

Monitoring business and operation activities and identifying compliance risks in order to manage a adequate risk control system, supervise and evaluate the efficiency of controls in place.

Coordinating external consultant for compliance reviews, risk assessment and independent audit, and managing the issues in relation to reports.

To lead and maintain AML/CTF program to monitor compliance across all parts of the business.

To conduct an annual risk assessment relating to financial crime and incorporate conclusions into current policies and requirements.

Being the ultimate point of escalation for AML issues, including in relation to suspicious activity reports.

Maintaining and updating the branch’s policies and procedures in accordance with the regulatory requirements and guidelines Oversight of the regulatory reporting and procedures.

Providing regulatory compliance relevant training for staff.
