We have an exciting opportunity for a Qualified accountant and auditor role in a London-based Accounting and Auditing firm. It is a UK-based oriental specialist firm that takes pride in its ability to understand the client's needs and assist them in solving their problems and provide an extensive array of accounting and business services backed by over decades of experience. They are looking for a Chinese-speaking Qualified Accountant and Auditor to join their skilled and enterprising team.
 

Job Requirements:

-Extensive experience is required. Over 5 years of professional experience in auditing, project management, and working with Southeast Asian clients.
-Required accounting credentials: ACA and ICAEW.
-Experience in auditing is required.
-Experience with UK GAAP and IFRS financial reporting and auditing.
-University degree.
-Fluency in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese to HSK Level 5 or equivalent.
-A winning attitude and a willingness to take on early responsibility.
-Outgoing personality with excellent communication skills and the ability to form solid relationships.
-An inquisitive mind and a knack for problem-solving.
-Business-minded, eager to learn, and capable of demonstrating leadership qualities.
-Reliable, organized, and capable of meeting deadlines.
-Competent numerical and information technology skills.
 
Job Responsibilities:

-Work on projects involving compliance and advisory services with Southeast Asian clients.
-Assist with corporate audit assignments, including on-site auditing at the client's location.
-Produce financial reports and documents for stakeholders and institutions.
-Carry out financial investigations regarding bankruptcy, fraud, potential mergers, etc.
-Assesses financial data for management purposes
-Coordinates budgets and other costs with management and other professionals.
-Creates financial forecasts, budgetary reviews, and periodic accounts
-Investigates issues and provide management with financial advice (PTP).
-Inform the team of any issues or discoveries.
-Ensure that timesheets are submitted weekly.
-Understand the various services available.
-Keep up a professional working relationship with the team as a whole and with clients.
