We have an exciting opportunity for a Compliance Officer role in a UK-based retail company. They are looking for a new Compliance Officer to help the shop compliance programme grow and develop independently, as well as to assist in stock loss and risk assessment. A significant portion of the job entails visiting all stores in all regions to ensure that all companies' compliance programmes are up to date.

Job Requirements:

-A degree in any field is required.
-Have a background in retail store management.
-Experience with compliance/health and safety.
-Mandarin or Cantonese fluency is required.
-Must have a British driver's license and at least 10 years of driving experience.
-Self-assured and have excellent motivational skills.
-Capable of quickly and efficiently adapting.
ideally have a solid background in loss prevention.
-Energetic and methodical, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.

Job Responsibilities:

-Maintain our company's brand/reputation by ensuring that all shop operations follow inventory/safety procedures/employee training.
-Store visits regularly and special audits, including security/audit compliance.
-Respond immediately to any security issues, conduct an investigation, and provide a thorough written report of findings.
-Liaison with and advise the shop management team on all stock loss or safety issues that need to be addressed.
-Provide a thorough analysis of all accomplishments and areas of the shop that need improvement in a written report detailing all findings and submitting it to senior management.
-Determine any training requirements for management or shop staff, corrects them as necessary, and make suggestions for training protocols.
-Send recommendations to superiors in writing.
-Check for compliance with company procedures by ensuring proper installation and health and safety. This includes inspecting security/intruders and fire alarms.
Keep track of and manage each system's performance.
-Supporting new store openings with CCTV/intrusion alarms and general store physical security.
-Provide detailed analysis from various survey sources, as well as review and follow-up on KPI reports.
-Prepare reports on increasing customer awareness of shop safety, and deliver them to superiors.
-Assist the business and store teams with stocktaking and surveying all high-loss stores.
-Guide on preventing and dissuading internal and external theft to protect company resources.
-Establish professional working relationships with the staff at the shop and your superiors.
-Maintain communication with outside organisations (such as the police and crime watch) to guarantee the best possible support and security for our company against the risk of theft, crime, and property damage.
