We have an exciting opportunity for a Group Travel Executive - Chinese market role in a London-based Education management company. The Group Travel Executive will be responsible for meeting the travel needs of overseas agents and direct groups, particularly those from China, as well as administering, operating, and sourcing these arrangements, which will include school integration, transportation, lodging, excursions, and all ground-handling services.
Job Requirements:
Proficient in written and spoken Mandarin.
Prior sales experience, preferably in tourism, is preferred.
Experience in an administrative capacity is required.
Experience working in telephone-based customer service is preferred.
Job Responsibilities:
Account management for schools while keeping good relationships with them to guarantee that we are their exclusive partner for school integration.
Increase school integration capacity by enrolling new students from international student groups at new schools.
Assess the level of school integration using recruitment KPIs like the number of schools that were called, visited, and onboarded.
Deliver the necessary tour arrangements for each client by an established deadline.
Deliver sales quotations at agreed-upon rates to meet client travel requirements as well as company margin and revenue targets.
Ensure that all school integration alternatives are assigned to a school and that there is a LO to provide local accommodation.
Keep an option sheet for school integration handy.
Recruit and supervise Chinese mentors and activity leaders.
Negotiate with vendors.
To encourage package tours, upsell to each group whenever possible.
Assist the sales team in drawing new customers and agents to generate growth for the business.
Ground handling assistance during group operations as needed.
Assist in product development to ensure that all products satisfy the needs of clients and agents.
Participate in training to gain relevant knowledge and skills.
Conform to TTI's health and safety policy, as well as additional guidelines for equipment and property care.
Flexibility with regard to standard working hours may be required during peak operating periods.
Emergency coverage is required on a rotating basis when employees are not in the office.
