We have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Representative role in a Wholesale company based in Newport. The firm is a wholesale distributor of various product lines geared particularly for Chinese food manufacturers in the UK. To join the retail sales team, the firm is searching for a highly driven and professional Cantonese speaker. The chosen applicant will receive complete training and assistance.

Job Requirements:

Proficiency in Cantonese/Mandarin is a requirement.

Possession of a valid UK driver's license is necessary.

Demonstrated experience of at least 2 years in sales, account management, or customer service is essential.

Must have a current and valid right to work in the UK.

Flexibility is required due to our diverse customer base.

Strong organizational skills and a proactive approach are expected.

Ability to thrive in a busy, fast-paced environment is crucial.

Excellent communication skills are a must.

Competence in IT is required.

Job Responsibilities:

Promote our products to Chinese takeaways.

Foster strong relationships with both customers and colleagues.

Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the company's product range.

Record and place orders accurately and promptly.

Effectively manage and oversee customer accounts and payments.

Gather customer data for credit ratings and assessments conducted by our team.

Promptly address and resolve any issues with customer orders, providing feedback to relevant parties.

Attend the weekly sales meeting at our Newport site every Thursday.

Suggest improvements and efficiencies in sales processes.

Offer support to colleagues in other geographical areas during their absences.

Undertake any other reasonable tasks as required by a senior manager or director.
