We have an exciting opportunity for an Accountant role in a Management Consulting firm based in Singapore. The firm provides foreign clients with company formation services across the globe, including company incorporation, creating multinational corporate bank accounts, bookkeeping, tax planning, etc. Several chartered accountants are being sought by the firm; selected applicants will initially work on a freelance basis for the balance of 2021. If all goes well, freelancers will be able to opt to become employees in 2022.

Job Requirements:

•    A freshly qualified chartered accountants who are available to work from home for the balance of 2021
•    Has a consistent work history of 3 - 5 years with the same employer
•    Interested in learning about legal, accounting, and taxation of every country 
•    Enjoys providing high-quality service to multi-national clients with a major focus on the answers we can offer to their challenges
•    Has outstanding written and spoken English as well as Mandarin
•    Has strong analytical abilities and a keen eye for detail
•    Is at ease working independently with the help of a virtual team
•    Has a proactive, optimistic mindset that is focused on finding answers
 

Job Responsibilities:

•    Project handle all aspects of company formation in every country in the world, 
 company formation.
o    opening a multi-currency business bank account
o    issues of law, accounting, and taxation
o    finding office space
o    the hiring of local personnel;
•    Annually afterward, help our multi-national clients in meeting their worldwide companies' transnational accounting and tax filing responsibilities, including
o    services for accounting
o    statement of financial position and corporate tax return preparation
o    be in charge of independent auditors
o    international tax reduction using lawful means;
•    Getting our clients up to date on the progress of their engagements on a frequent and transparent basis by providing them with 
o    weekly progress reports on the engagement
o    comprehensive project plans
o    obligation summaries
o    open communication about potential issues and suggested solutions
o    once-a-week phone calls;
•    Improving the quality of our business website's country web pages after each business set up the engagement;
•    Promote internal business growth initiatives, reporting directly to our worldwide CEOs;
•    Assisting our clients in determining the best group structuring plan, including
o    entity re-domiciliation
o    taking into account the most recent global business developments, such as BEPS, CRS, and the need for financial substance;
•    Oversee our worldwide network of attorneys and accountants, including
o    arranging fair and acceptable costs and engagement periods for both parties
o    obtaining high-quality supplier due to diligence documents
o    monitoring their work and ensuring that their engagement outputs are of high quality
