We have an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer - Electrical and Refrigeration role for a food production company based in London. The company is a major fresh produce business situated in London that specialises in authentic Asian cuisine. They are seeking a person with the necessary skill and experience to fill this position.

Job Requirements:

-A bachelor's degree or higher in mechanical or electrical engineering is required.

-English (proficient, B1 intermediate level or higher).

-Capability to install and troubleshoot electromechanical equipment.

-Possess the necessary knowledge to ensure the proper and secure operation of electromechanical devices.

-Strong skills in on-site management and upkeep of electromechanical devices.

-Have a thorough understanding of electro-mechanical architecture

-Capability to learn and apply new electro-mechanical technologies.

Job Responsibilities:

-Responsible for setting up and performing routine repairs and maintenance on refrigeration, and food processing equipment, such as cold storage, blast freezers, etc.

-In charge of running and maintaining generators and high-voltage equipment to make sure the power system runs smoothly and steadily.

-Assume responsibility for welding self-made equipment used in food production, as well as collaborating with workshops to address common issues.

-Formalizing, incorporating, and monitoring various engineering procedures, as well as ensuring project compliance with statutory requirements.

-Advice based on the current state of construction, such as improving and changing the construction method, upgrading equipment, and tools, improving personnel quantity and/or quality, improving the quality of construction materials, maintaining a clean and hygienic work environment, taking safety precautions while working, etc.

-Ad-hoc duties assigned by management.
