We have an exciting opportunity for a Financial Accountant role in an IT Services and IT Consulting company based in London. It is a technology company striving to make it simpler and more effective for travelers to ask for assistance. To keep up their high performance and productivity, they are currently looking for a qualified accountant to join their team.

Job Requirements:

-Certified accountant (CPA or ACCA or equivalent).
-Ideally, you should have at least 2-3 years of relevant PQE.
-Exceptional knowledge of the Xero accounting system.
-Strong knowledge of UK accounting standards and tax laws.
-Extensive experience with reporting and Excel.
-Capable of demonstrating practical experience with monthly management accounts and VAT returns.
-Ability to work with large amounts of data and processes while paying close attention to detail.
-Capability to identify and resolve and respond to non-routine events and problems.
-Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
-Outstanding organizational and planning abilities.
-A strong dedication to ethical behaviour.
-Prior relevant work exposure at SaaS firms.

Job Responsibilities:

-Maintaining the accuracy of all accounting records and data on file.
-Itemising accounting transactions on a daily basis using the Xero system.
-Accounting ledger reconciliations on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
-Generate management accounts every month.
-Conduct and control monthly payroll and payroll consolidations (including PAYE and Pension).
-Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns, final accounts, and corporate tax returns.
-Liaison with an outside consultant for R&D claims.
-Budgeting and monitoring assistance.
-Assist with fundraising.
-Ad hoc tasks.
