We have an exciting opportunity for a Restaurant Manager for an Asian Restaurant based in Elephant Park. They are seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee all aspects of the operation. Assuring an efficient restaurant operation, and maintaining high production, efficiency, quality, and customer-service standards are among the duties of a restaurant manager. Other duties include maintaining the restaurant's revenue, profitability, and quality goals.
 

Job Requirements:

Demonstrated work history as a restaurant manager, restaurant general manager, hospitality manager, or in a position similar.

Manager with demonstrated customer service experience.

Extensive knowledge of Asian food and beverage (F&B), including the ability to memorize and recall ingredients and dishes to inform customers and wait staff.

Understanding of restaurant management software.

Strong leadership, motivational, and interpersonal abilities.

Excellent financial management abilities.

A BSc in Business Administration is required; hospitality management or culinary training is preferred but not required. 

Mandarin speakers are desired, also English proficiency is required. 

Job Responsibilities:

Organize daily Front of the House and Back of the House the operation of restaurants.

Provide excellent service and maximize customer satisfaction.

Address customer complaints in a timely and accurate manner.

Regularly examine product quality and investigate new vendors.

Set up and monitor shifts.

Improve productivity by evaluating staff performance and providing feedback.

Estimate future requirements for goods, kitchen utensils, and cleaning supplies.

Ensure that sanitation and safety regulations are followed.

Maintain the favorable reputation of the restaurant and make suggestions for ways to make it better.

Control operational costs and look for ways to reduce waste.

Make thorough reports on the weekly, monthly, and yearly receipts and outgoings.

By using restaurant events and word-of-mouth advertising, promote the brand in the neighborhood.

Recommend methods for reaching a larger audience (for example, discounts and social media ads).

Instruct new and existing employees on proper customer service procedures.

Implement policies and procedures that will ensure the viability of future restaurant operations.
