We have an exciting opportunity for a Merchandiser role in a Berkshire-based Furniture and Home Furnishings Manufacturing company. The company manufactures stunning home and garden furniture for everyday use and contemporary homes with cutting-edge design and unmatched quality that is still reasonably priced and fashionable. The Merchandiser will be responsible for all channels, ensuring availability and intake metrics, as well as meeting client requirements.

Job Responsibilities:
Compile historical information and suggestions based on analysis for the development of product strategies for each season.
Assist in incorporating Merchandising input into financial forecasting and budgeting.
Utilize the product critical path when operating to safeguard availability.
Analyze the situation and make suggestions that help to actively build the range framework for each season.
Establish the range and pricing for each channel while taking target margins and market range analysis into account.
Perform a SWOT analysis on the performance of the product to guide future growth and purchasing.
Assist the Product Development team with checks and balances throughout the range development process.
Validate and gather data for analysis.
Verify that the selling price and intake margin data are accurate and current across all systems.
Assist the Channel Data Administrator, advertising, and product development in ensuring that product data is correct across all sales channels.

Collaborating with purchasing to ensure that a commercial range is provided to the client while ensuring that the company's and B&M's strategy is followed, taking into account OTB, Options, price, and international requirements.

administer purchase orders (including payments) for ALL product areas.
Control the intake flow throughout the supply chain to guarantee that the availability goals are met.
Manage the forecasting and cancellation of generic product lines.
Oversee the warehouse throughput forecasting process.
Communicate issues and timelines to the rest of the team clearly and accurately.
Oversee the execution of all Purchase Orders.
Control the critical path management and placement of all orders.
Manage the inflow of customers in accordance with the seasonal launch and cash flow plans.
Communicate issues and time to resolution to the rest of the team in an efficient and precise way.
By closely collaborating with the PD team, it is possible to guarantee that the new ranges are ordered and any problems are resolved in time to meet the season launch dates.
Assist decision-making and get buy-in for ideas by providing an appropriate level of data analysis and insights that can be shared with the appropriate teams.
Make sure that important messages and forecast changes are communicated to suppliers regularly.

Resolve issues as they arise and collaborate with Buying and other relevant teams to develop effective solutions.
Review KPIs regularly to guarantee that the BTA is realistic, emphasizing changes to the team and management.
Manage and grow a high-performing AM team through frequent 1:1s and honest, helpful feedback.
Create a setting that encourages all team members to contribute ideas and suggestions.
Assist the larger merchandising and product development teams as a coordinator.
Support cross-team business partners by giving them access to timely, accurate hand-over information in a format that is simple to understand.
Develop positive relationships with suppliers.
Creates and communicates allocation timeliness.
Under the supervision of the HP&M and product development teams, manage the clearance of samples/outlets.
Make sure the team reviews the products so that we can determine the causes of underwhelming performance and put plans in place to address those issues with the right stakeholders, such as imagery, product content, and merchandising.
Create cross-selling and upselling strategies using recommendations to increase AOV and IPO across all web channels.
Utilizing analytical tools like GA and Power BI, provide in-depth reporting and insight into trends in trade performance.
Organise and plan the launch of promotional campaigns and the introduction of new products, including the management of campaign dates and the setup of the product and its pricing.
Assist HP&M in updating and forecasting the company stock control papers.
Perform the line-level WSSI and supporting analyses to determine quantities and delivery windows for repeat orders.
Exhibiting a global mindset and communicating opportunities and risks with other departments to influence global strategy and boost divisional performance.
Seek possibilities to improve working methods and system usage to trade more effectively on a global scale, while collaborating with the team.
