We have an exciting opportunity for a Site Engineer/Technician role in an Automation Machinery Manufacturing company based in California. They are looking for a knowledgeable Site engineer who will be in charge of guiding service partners in carrying out equipment installation and commissioning. Additionally, responsible for providing after-sales technical support, which encompasses troubleshooting, equipment maintenance and repair, and conducting customer training.

Job Requirements :

 Possession of a degree or diploma in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

Prior work experience in equipment installation, maintenance, and on-site supervision is a valuable asset.

 Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office is expected.

Strong verbal and written English skills are necessary, and proficiency in Mandarin Chinese/Cantonese is advantageous.

IT literacy, particularly in network infrastructure, is a positive attribute.

Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP, or other logistics-related systems is a plus.

Demonstrates a willingness to learn and meticulous attention to detail.

 Self-driven, hardworking, and capable of working independently.

Flexibility to work at various sites as required, therefore, a valid driver's license and a willingness to travel are essential.

Possession of a valid driver's license is required.

Willingness to acknowledge that the position will primarily involve on-site work at various locations across the UK.

Overseeing and supervising on-site activities, ensuring the progress of site work, which includes site testing and commissioning.

Collaborating with project managers and sub-contractors to effectively manage overall site performance.

Creating daily on-site reports for both clients and our internal team.

Performing routine maintenance on robots and addressing any unexpected malfunctions with thorough analysis and maintenance.

Taking responsibility for identifying the root causes of production issues by using diagnostic tools.

Offering training and assistance to external partners in project implementation and maintenance.

Resolving impromptu on-site issues as they arise.

Providing support to clients in handling system-related problems and troubleshooting after the project goes live.

Maintaining open and clear communication with distributors, service partners, and customers.
