We have an exciting opportunity for a Store Assistant role in an Internet logistics company based in London. The company is a giant overseas Chinese food delivery service company that has expanded into several nations. It seeks to hire an individual with relevant experience working in a supermarket setting.

Job Requirements: 

Prior experience in retail or customer service is required.

Proficiency in both English and Mandarin is preferred. 

Familiarity with Easy Asian and South East Asian food products is desirable.

The ability to work and communicate effectively with the public, collaborate within a team, and experience in stock replenishment, especially with large quantities, is essential.
 

Job Responsibilities:

Deliver a consistently high level of professional customer service.

Handle customer transactions, including processing cash and card payments.

Assist customers in locating requested goods and products.

Report customer complaints to senior staff. Demonstrate comprehensive product knowledge.

Receive and organize stock deliveries, ensuring proper stocking procedures such as rotation and accurate price tagging.

Conduct data checks on stock to minimize wastage.

Stay informed about special promotions and contribute to setting up displays.

Follow work instructions from senior staff and supervisors.

Report any issues or problems to supervisors promptly.

Maintain an exemplary attendance record.

Reconcile cash registers, taking responsibility for any discrepancies.

Uphold store cleanliness and safety standards, including vacuuming, mopping, and waste disposal.

Remain vigilant for potential threats, including shoplifting and fraudulent transactions, and report such issues to supervisors.

Prioritize and maintain Health and safety protocols throughout the store.
