The company and the role:

A fast-growing international organization is looking to recruit an office assistant on the permanent basis. The role will be based in Manchester City Centre, which has excellent commuter links and is easily accessible via train, tram and bus services.

Due to the expansion of the business, we have opportunities for 2-3 office assistants. The role will involve various administrative and clerical duties in order to support the effective operation of our Manchester office.

The company will offer you full training and guidance from a very supportive team, ensuring that you are able to reach your potential.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: assist in the preparation of the monthly management account; Collect monthly sales records from clients and calculate VAT returns; Submit monthly VAT reports for clients; Updating internal databases; Liaise with colleagues in our China office and also tax authorities.

What we expect from you:

-Be able to speak fluent Mandarin and English - Compulsory
-Have strong IT skills, particularly MS Excel
-Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Have good time management skills
-Eager to learn and help improve processes
-Mature attitude and be able to work in a fast running office
-High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
-Related working experience is preferable
